Peter Coyote Joins Law & Order: Los Angeles Cast

Peter Coyote has joined the cast of Law & Order: Los Angeles to play the recurring role of District Attorney. His character – name not given - will be in charge of the Deputy District Attorneys played by Alfred Molina, Terrence Howard, Regina Hall, and Megan Boone.

It sounds like “LOLA” is going to have a great cast!

D'Onofrio/Goldblum are GONE! CI is about to be CANCELED! Nicole Wallace was KILLED off! That idea is OUT!

How about instead an SVU/UK crossover... I'm running that by @NealBaer (Twitter)!

CI fans want to show to end with a 2-3 hr movie and then for it to be replaced with a "Law & Order: Miami" (on USA Network I hope)!

Excellent choice.

Okay, I actually want CI to end with "Three-in-One" as L&O did with "Rubber Room".

IF CI gets a movie the key people behind season 9 don't need to have anything to do with it (Walon Green). Just Rene Balcer and Warren Leight (maybe Mike Chernuchin). And it'd need to star D'Onofrio, Erbe, and Goldblum (along w/ Burrows and Mastrantonio).

Olivia D'Abo's Wallace needs to stay buried, I think Trevor Morgan should return as Donny Carson.

Then after the movie, I think it'd be okay if "Law & Order: Miami" came into effect on USA Network of course, SVU and LOLA need to stay on NBC!

i think it's a great way to bring mothership and ci fans together for a final bang. cancel criminal intent now no new episodes. the movie being the final one.

as long as it's on usa network i won't complain. it needs to air on a sunday during a summer month though after the network tv season, like june or july.

i'd be nice to have another law and order tv movie out there instead of exiled which circled chris noth's character mike logan. also a law and order: miami would be good stuff for usa network since they are all blue skies.

i'm watching svu wednesday night. anyone else?

i think svu and uk should crossover too.

Peter Coyote also starred in the LOCI episode "Self-made",season 7 I think. That was an interesting dynamic.

Exiled was a great movie, I really loved seeing Chris Noth again. He's one of my favorite characters, and the most flawed ones too in the L&O universe.

I'm loving this cast more and more, can't wait for next week.

Instead of bringing Donnie back, how about finishing off the Declan Gage and Sebastian story line? Gage dies in prison (suicide/bad health/execution) and wills Bobby, "the son he never had", his files. And a toolkit. Gage's way of getting Bobby back in the game - something he'd feel he'd have to investigate even if he weren't with the MCS any longer.
