ATLaO,
has Saffron Burrows/M.E. Mastrantonio left the cast of CI? I heard a rumor that one of them is gone.
Can you confirm?
Wendy, I've heard a lot of rumors about who is coming and who is going, right now the only one that appears certain is Jeff Goldblum;s exit. NBCU/USA Network hasn't made any official comment as yet whether or not the show is even being renewed, much less made any official announcements on cast changes. I am keeping my eyes and ears open and once I get news that comes from a reliable source, I will pass it along!
I'd like to know why on some websites fans are talking about 'REPLACING' "Law & Order: CI" with a "Law & Order: Miami" on USA?
Like Dick Wolf is going to take on another new series (but then again, if he sees 'dollarsigns' he may do it).
Why? If you ask me CI needs to go (too much stress, unneeded)... but replacing it?? Maybe for USA Network a MIA L&O would work (as long as it doesn't become Miami Vice or CSI: Miami).
That stuff about L&O Miami is just someone's made up rumor. Someone keeps making up weird stuff about Law & order CI. The only place I saw that comment was on a USA Network message board. Not a source that should be taken seriously.
you know that miami law & order rumor got started by matt nix (burn notice) on twitter when he made a comment about one of the burn notice stars was going out to l.a. after filming, he made a comment about lola and since then his fans (both burn notice and law & order) have been trying to get him to do a 'law & order: miami' with wolf.
frankly its a nice gesture, but it only exists in some fans dreams.
1.) The ONLY way a "Law & Order: Miami" should be created is if LOCI is canceled.
2.) I kinda doubt Wolf would try to stack two new series on at once. (But I would not be suprised).
3.) Rumors say BOTH MEM and Saffron Burrows have departed... so if CI does come back it'll be with a fresh cast. (I doubt it will come back though).
The only part I think would be an okay part about a "Law & Order: Miami" as if it would air on USA Network, a show that would fit more with their comedic-yet-drama-shows like "Burn Notice" and "Covert Affairs".
It'd basically have to be a mixture of "NCIS: LA", "CSI: Miami", and the Mothership.
