Okay, so "Unstable" has a case about a man Stabler (wrongfully) put away 10 years earlier, "Solitary" deals with another case Stabler handled 19 years prior, "Confidential" is about a wrongful conviction from 20 years ago, and now "Bedtime" will deal with an unsolved case from 30 years ago.

Hmm, I sense a pattern. I heard the theme this season was supposed to be 'Benson and Stabler Against the World' but it seems more like 'The Past Always Comes Back to Bite You in the Ass'

The writers need to write more charactor growth for Stabler. Every episode makes it look like he is fumbling like a rookie. Chris Meloni and Stabler deserve better afer 12 seasons. Perhaps that is why CM has expressed wanting to leave.....you can only play this charactor as far as it can go and I think its gone pretty far.
