Is it true? Bob Saget is coming to LOLA?

Yes, Bob Saget is coming to LOLA as a guest star. It was reported last Friday, via my Twitter feed:

I [don't have Twitter, need to get one though] thought that post was a hoax; cause I remember when Saget was on SVU.

I'm ready for LOLA now to see Saget and Molina cross paths!

It occurs to me that Mariska Hargitay ought to sign on to produce or executive produce any further seasons of L&O:SVU!She clearly has huge influence with the present producers of the show- the subject matter of course, rape kit backlog, campus rape,as well as a great deal of influence over whom guest stars on the show.Re;Maria Bello, Debra Messing, Shorheh A.,etc.I wonder if she'd ever seriously entertain the thought once Neal Baer takes his leave in June 2011.Just a thought!

I love these videos. Chris is so articulate and knowledgeable about acting. I always find him so refreshingly honest and it's nice to see him genuinely excited about working with great actors like Jeremy Irons. I'm not fond of the never ending conveyor belt of guest stars, who sometimes appear to be selected for awards/publicity rather than talent. In this particular case, however, SVU knocked it out of the park. Glad to see that Chris feels the same way about Mask.

Perish that thought. The last thing SVU needs is for Mariska to have any more influence over story lines or the direction the story needs to take. What SVU needs is to have Rene Balcer take Baer's place and bring SVU back to the days days of good, balanced writing. Baer's habit of using SVU to voice his personal views on controversial subjects as the correct ones has done tremendous damage to the show. For the show to go on, that damage must be repaired. Mariska is not the person to do that.

I always find Chris refreshingly honest. He's always professional but doesn't overhype or parrot Baer like Mariska does. It sounds like after a long haul of 12 years on this show it still has it moments when the actors get excited working with someone of Jeremy Iron's caliber. Good for him!

I don't like watching interviews with Chris Meloni. He always comes off as so self-important and that comes out in his acting. He takes himself way too seriously.

I like someone who takes their career seriously. Its much more real than always going on about 'what an incredible show this is ... or just wait until you see the passion between Bill Pullman and Mariska' type B.S. we hear from Baer and Mariska constantly.
