This doesn't really sound like an SVU case.

Well, you don't know enough about the stabbing to determine that. It could be sexually motivated.

Swingers club? Stabbing? Illicit hobby? I can see a possible SVU case Lol.

This isn't an SVU case. It's a homicide case. Have they run out of rapes, child abuse and abuse of the ederly? It makes you wonder if the writers even know what the real SVU detectives deal with.

^ ederly = elderly

I'm not necessarily complaining, just pointing it out. Some of SVU's better episodes lately have been borderline in that regard.

In one of Neal Baer's bubbletweets it shows the man being stabbed in the groin, sounds like a sex crime to me. Episode looks great!! Can't wait!!

I think the writers must lay awake at night thinking of how they can come up with contrived criminal cases that will place Benson and Stabler in "compromising situations".This show has been pretty successful for a long time now,and as a non -E/O shipper, I really wish TPTB would respect the dynamic and complex relationship between Elliot and Olivia and stop trying to titillate the E/O shippers of the Net world.I often watch older SVU's on various cable networks and there is definite chemistry between the two lead actors; that's why they were chosen in the first place. But I really wish the stories were the main attraction, not the perhaps ten-second screen time titillation between them.Doesn't really ring true or even necessary to the storylines.Just my opinion, however...

If they concentrated on writing real Sex Crimes for the viewers to watch, the ratings wouldn't be so bad. There's never going to be a E/O relationship so why shove all the E/O crap down our throat. Wished they'd pair Olivia and Fin on an undercover assignment.

Personally I don't want any more undercover assignments. They did have the episode where Olivia played a Madam and Fin a pimp or her bodyguard or whatever and it was cringently bad. They need to stop with the undercovers they are they have just gotten so ridiculous and Benson is a particularly bad undercover actress.

I agree with Anonymous @11:19 AM
Olivia and Fin are great when they are paired together.

Olivia and Fin are gross together... Just saying... anyway, the ep sounds good but I just hope they focus on the plotline this time, not rose mcgowan because everytime theres a guest they ALWAYS go off topic...

Undercover Olivia is bad, bad, bad. nd being undercover with Fin is just the worst, They need to concentrate on good stories and stop trying to play with the E/O crap when its so obvious there is nothing there. They think its cute to play undercover but its just old.

I have watched all of those episodes many times and there is nothing sexual about Elliot and Olivia's relationship. As Elliot has said many times, they are partners. He's not interested in her in any other way even if she has had a crush on him for years. That just shows you how sad the writers have made the character of Olivia. She has no friends, no family and no love life. It's time to get some better writers and a showrunner who knows what he is doing Let her character grow into a personal life or exposed her inability to connect people on a personal level.

I love the episodes where Olivia and Eliot working undercover. They are great. I do not think there is currently romance between Elliot and Olivia. But I never saw Olivia interested sexualmemte by Elliot. Olivia is also unable to connect with someone. Simply she is a woman dedicated to her work. Work which takes all his time and by its nature, it becomes exhausting. Olivia is my favorite character. She's human, sensitive, fair, passionate about what he does, altruistic. Ah! I forgot, and she is beautiful.

I have also watched all those episodes and there is a friendship partnership and nothing more. Olivia doesn't seem to want a relationship with anyone otherwise it would have happened way before she is almost turning 50! They need to concentrate on writing good crime dramas and leave the other stuff to the soaps.

@ Frutiger2966

Mariska Hargitay has nearly 50 years (with 30 guy), but not Olivia. And man, despite his age does not lose the capacity to love. Would love to see Olivia with a amor.Ela is so generous and humane. She deserves it. And the series may have their crimes, but show a little background on the personal lives of actors. They are human beings, not animals. What distinguishes humans from animals is just that. We are endowed with feelings like love and paixão.E Olivia has a great capacity to love. This need not necessarily be the Elliot.

They haven't tackled furries for some reason, yet. There ya go, writers. Start focusing on cases instead of pointless shipping.
