Law & Order SVU “Beef” Episode Information

NBC has released the information for an upcoming new episode of Law & Order SVU titled “Beef.” Here are the details:


Law & Order SVU “Beef” Air Date April 21,2010 (10 PM ET/ 9C Wednesday NBC)
A YOUNG WOMAN'S RAPE AND MURDER ILLUMINATE DISTURBING TRUTHS ABOUT THE MEAT-PACKING INDUSTRY


After a young woman is sexually assaulted and murdered, Detectives Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Elliot Stabler (Chris Meloni) track down the woman's boyfriend - their first suspect - but learn that he is a devout vegan who wouldn't hurt a fly. They soon find that the victim had been deeply involved in the fight to expose questionable practices in the meat-packing industry, even going undercover at a large company to find out the truth. Benson goes undercover herself to retrace the woman's footsteps and to identify who the victim might have angered along the way. Also starring: Ice-T (Detective Odafin Tutuola), Tamara Tunie (Dr. Melinda Warner), Richard Belzer (Detective John Munch) and B.D. Wong (Dr. George Huang).

I'm sorry but this episode sounds a little stupid maybe it might fool me but it seems like its going to be about how terrible the meat industry is which it is and not about the victim and solving her murder.

I'm with Anon. I think this episode sounds REALLY weird. I don't know; it's just really ... "out there."

This plot was already done in another L&O series.

Its kinda annoying how all eps start off with a sex-crime then 1/4 - 1/2 way thru the ep it becomes an entirely different story thats barely even related to the starting crime, which is kinda unrealistic compared to real life... Then again it's a show... I'm curious about Liv going Undercover again(:(:
