NBC has released the information for a new episode of Law & Order SVU “Torch” set to air on April 28. Here are the details:
Law & Order SVU “Torch” Air Date 04/28/2010 (10 PM ET/ 9C Wednesday NBC)
WHEN A MAN IS ACCUSED OF MURDERING HIS DAUGTHERS, DETECTIVE STABLER'S (CHRIS MELONI) FORMER PARTNER (GUEST STAR SHARON STONE) TAKES THE CASE
When two sisters are killed in a fire, Detectives Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Elliot Stabler (Chris Meloni) are confused about why they are called to investigate. They soon discover that Stabler's old partner, ADA Jo Marlowe (guest star Sharon Stone), has been put on the case -- despite the absence of a sex crime -- because the two victims were so young, and that she has enlisted the duo to help. However, as the investigation continues, Benson and Stabler find that the case might be more suited to their department than anyone originally assumed, and Stabler's interrogation tactics threaten to get the detectives into trouble. Also starring: Ice-T (Detective Odafin Tutuola), Tamara Tunie (Dr. Melinda Warner), Richard Belzer (Detective John Munch) and B.D. Wong (Dr. George Huang).

Wait. Stabler using over-the-top interrogation tactics and putting the case, his career, and his partner in jeopardy?! I'm in shock.
Hmmm, the thing with Stabler's Ex-partner sounds really interesting but the rest of the description about Elliot using 'over the top' tactics is sooo usual. I just wish that the description carried out the whole 'Juicy' feeling that died after the second sentence... I'm still phsyced about the ep, but the description kinda bursted my bubble a bit...
Can't they come up with anything original? I like yo look at Chris Meloni but Stabler is getting to be so boring.
I know that the Stabler rage is getting a bit old, but maybe they're finally going to go somewhere with it. They haven't actually dealt with this issue since Season 6 or 7, when he seemed to confront it a bit but then obviously regressed. I would love to see some actual character development, rather than Elliot's standard attack mode.
Sounds interesting I might actually be interested in watching this episode but Stabler putting everyone in jeopardy is no surprise the writers forshadowed this maybe not exactly this but that they will be getting in trouble with their mess from episode 1 to 9 and beyond that when past stuff kept coming up and when they suspected Benson of a crime and that IAB guy said the only reason stabler was not in trouble because they had nothing on him-yet.
Well one thing we can see is that Sharon Stone can sure well take a punch! I was like wow...
