Who would have thought the Irish mob was still active?

These episodes are not what they appear: They are advertised as drama but they are written by some of THE SAME people from LAST season! This season tanks anyway: You know if the premiere wasn't really up to par the rest of the season is gonna be off the track - it's season 8 all over again except it's Jeff Goldblum-ized!

I will NOT be watching it either!

We just has an episode about a cop killing- a captain cop killing. Why another? And in these scenes, Goldblum sure is considerate of the people that knew the dead cop- Eames and Goren were right at the scene of their captain's murder last week and he audience was supposed to be pissed about how rudely they were treated. But now we're supposed to be ok with being a dick at a crime scene? I know the other cops will end up being dirty (and a dirty cop is the lowest of the low) but telling that grief crazed cop that he's in his buddies blood- yeah, not a great thing to do. Sometimes, you get more info by pretending to be a friend, and keeping your suspicions to yourself.

Det.Nichols seems to be off his game in these clips.Stepping on alot of toes.Last season he was a smooth operator. At least till he zeros in on his chief suspect. He seems to know something we don't already.Even though the episode just started.Foreknowledge.You have to suspect ever one. Wives and co workers even if there fellow detectives.

I will be watching because I am a Jeff Goldblum fan. I am looking forward to seeing how Mastrantonio does as the new MCS captain.

To RangerGirl:

whatever floats your boat. Jeff Goldblum taking over LOCI doesn't float mine!

Over to you then Goldblum fans, the D'Onofrio/Erbe fans kept the show afloat for 8 years, so we've DONE our bit; and now we're done! LOCI ended last week as far as I'm concerned.

Lizzie :(

Saw it. Liked it. No chemistry between Goldblum and Burrows as yet. But the story and peripheral characters were well-drawn.
