I love this storyline, and I'm glad it is continuing for another episode!

Keith Carradine truly adds depth to this storyline. I first saw him in Madam Secretary (my favorite television show). It's crazy and cool how a man can play two completely different characters.

I'm looking forward to next week's episode, primarily because of the return of Cragen, and the continuation of the storyline. I hope that it's not entirely Stabler-centric again (like a directly personal case again, similar to Wheatley). Of course, they began this storyline with Rita (I'm glad they did), which was personal, but I believe that it should be the extent to which they reach for making it directly personal for Stabler. Stabler's my favorite character in the series, but I prefer more non-directly-personal cases.

I also hope this storyline continues for more than 3 episodes, but I doubt it. Despite this not being likely, I still am enjoying what John Shiban is doing to the show. I feel like he's returning to more suspense and mysteriousness, which were lacking in season 3 (excluding the Murphy case). His contributions to the show seem promising!

I liked this episode too. I agree, this storyline is one that could go through several episodes and I'd still be interested in it. I'm glad Gonzales is taking a leave of absence - can he stay gone? I find this character boring and the whole story with Jet and him is so forced. I don't know why they feel the need to put colleagues "together" like this especially when there is ZERO chemistry!

1) What do you think of this case? In my opinion, it is my favorite from this season, and it is way better than last season's cases (except for Murphy -- which I also liked). I also actually prefer it over the Wheatley episodes.

2) Is this description for episode 8 ("Sins of Our Fathers") of OC correct?
"As Bell and the squad come up with a plan to bring the Westbrook case officially into their jurisdiction, Chief Bonner struggles with unanswered questions about her past and her beloved town. Stabler learns the outcome of his IAB investigation."
(I got it from here: https://next-episode.net/law-and-order-organized-crime/season-4.)
-- If it is true/correct, I'm glad they are finally doing a case for more than 3 episodes again.

3) What do you think of SVU's episodes this (and last) season? I prefer Leight's episodes over Graziano's episodes because they are more fitting for the series. Do you agree, or have any thoughts about your preference of showrunners?

@SH - I think this case has possibilities. They should have started the season with it. I preferred OC when their stories continued over 6-8 episodes, it helps to draw viewers in to all the characters, including those that are the perps!

I can't speak to the accuracy of that episode information. I only publish episode details once NBC officially releases them, and they haven't released details on that episode as yet!

SVU this season and last have been...different. Last season it didn't bother me so much. This season the cast seems way out of whack and/or in too much of a state of flux. They should have kept Kelli and it certainly seems this season that they are still trying to find someone to replace her who will click with viewers. I don't think they've found that person yet.
