Law & Order LA Casts Teri Polo in Recurring Role

TV Guide reports that Teri Polo has joined the cast of Law & Order: Los Angeles for a recurring role. She will play former cop Casey Winters, who is also the wife of Detective Rex Winters (Skeet Ulrich). A side note – I wish there would be consistency in Winter’s name…some news stories list it as Rex, some NBC releases say John… I wonder which is correct?

Teri Polo on LOLO, I mean LOLA?!

I think Winters's name should be Rex because it fits with Ulrich's name and face. John Winters = John Munch to me (even though we may need another Munch, Bezler is dropping his appearances on SVU for some reason.)

I like Ray or John better.

I would like to thank all who watched Law & Order: CI on USA the past season! I hope you enjoyed!

We are in negotiations, and the verdict really doesn't look too good.

YOU ARE NOT WELCOME! Mr. Green (if it's you) you RUINED Law & Order: CI, I hope it is canceled so you will be out of a job!

Was that a legitimate comment from Green ?

rotfl..

I wouldn't be rude to him if came here and discussed the series with us..I wouldn't be rude to Dick Wolf either.

Do I blame them for CI's demise ?Of course.

Ditto Whitney and Angrywolf...

Staying on topic, I prefer Ray or John as with Chris.

Teri Polo seems to be the budget version of Laura Linney (I mean that as a complement, not an insult). Anyway, I think she'll do well

If that Walon Green poster is for real, I honestly wish you the best. If there is going to be a new season, I should hope there will an influx of new writers who know what they're doing, and a overhaul of the main detective team (Saffron Burrows just doesn't seem like a good investment). But the odds seem stacked against the show anyway. The original fans are still angry about everyone from the main team getting the fired and the procedural drama sticks out like a sore thumb in an array of young quick burning shows like White Collar and Covert Affairs. It's sad because CI has the potential to be good again. Especially with a strong, charismatic female lead, like past CI ladies Kathryn Erbe, Julianne Nicholson and Alicia Witt. I mean look at the ratings for The Closer and Rizzoli and Isles, lots of women want to see a female lead they like and identify with.

That said, this "Walon Green" is probably a troll, but oh well. :-)
