Here is the discussion topic for Law & Order “Sins Of The Father” which aired on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Please feel free to add any feedback you have about this episode in the comments!
Decent episode. But once again Sam sympathizes with the criminal guilty of 10+ murders with no remorse or sympathy. Absolutely ridiculous! Glad to see Baxter call her out. The legal side continues to need a revamp aside from Baxter.
I liked this episode a lot. There was no courtroom action but that didn't mean there wasn't legal controversy. I am also getting tired of Maroun and her constant siding with the defendants. They are prosecutors and she needs to think like one! Sure it wasn't the best thing to go after the son but sometimes to get the bigger fish you need to bait them using the smaller ones. It's a little odd that Price used to be the one who didn't have the guts to go after the tough cases, now it's flipped to her. A nice episode for the detectives too. I like Law & Order much more than SVU these days, they tell the story better and the cast has good chemistry.
