I loved this episode! It's clearly the best of this arc. What do you think of this season so far, Chris?
I think this show is doing much better story-wise on streaming than on NBC. I don't know why but I am a little less bothered by the family issues this season.
@SH - I'm surprised that I don't dislike it. I was afraid that moving it to streaming would mean a loss in quality. While I think it's the weakest of the 3 Law & Order shows on now, it's doing a decent job of telling a story. The one thing that I think I am missing: does this current story have anything to do with how the season started or is this a separate case altogether? Somewhere along the line I think I missed something, either the bridge between cases, or a sense of finality on the first case. Unfortunately I saw a spoiler on the ending of last night's episode so it was no shock to me.
I would say SVU is the weakest (at least with storytelling). And I think this is a separate case. Within the OC series, season 3 has to be the worst season (at least for me). Seasons 1-2 were good, and 4 had its moments. I think season 5 is definitely where the show is getting back its rhythm.
