This is the greatest episode of the night! I enjoyed this storyline, but am disappointed that Jennifer Ehle is not joining the cast permanently. I love this season of OC so far. Sort of a thriller, intense, and emotional. Honestly, I don't really care about Stabler's personal stuff, but I'm glad we'll be exploring that with actual organized crime next episode.

I hope this series is renewed for a season 5!!! It's the best season compared to the other current seasons of the Original and SVU. Although I do prefer longer 8-episode story arcs, I enjoy what John Shiban is doing for the show.

I don't thing OC is good enough for renewal. I'm thinking that they;ll cancel it and move Meloni to SVU. Could you imagine that? I thought last week's episode was better but this one didn't interest me as much. This is the problem I have with OC, it blows hot and cold with me.

As someone who watches SVU and OC but not the OG show (unless they crossover) every week, I've generally been enjoying OC more. I prefer the multi-episode arcs over the more episodic format of SVU. The Albanian arc, running the first eight episodes of season two, was excellent.

From what little I've seen, all three shows are performing significantly better ratings-wise than they were last year. I think NBC has a good thing going with their three One Chicago shows on Wednesdays and the three L&O shows on Thursdays, and I think they'd have to have something pretty solid to take OC's place to break it up.

Personally, I also like Stabler's character much better on OC than I did on SVU. Bringing him back to SVU, were they to, would be challenging from a story perspective. The long-running tease of a romantic relationship between him and Benson would be next to impossible if she's his Captain. Not to mention the completely different dynamic where he was previously the senior detective and would now be subordinate to both Benson and Fin.

I really hope they keep it rolling next year, as I think the show's quality is more than good enough. I wonder if it not following the more traditional Police then Court format of the other shows is a turnoff for people.
