Law & Order Organized Crime “All That Glitters” Discussion Topic

Here is the discussion topic for Law & Order Organized Crime, “All That Glitters” which aired on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Please feel free to add any feedback you have about this episode in the comments!

My opinion:  I'm not very interested in this season so far.  In previous seasons, viewers could enjoy seeing the main cast return every week AND get a chance to develop a connection to the criminals via the on-going investigative process.   Maybe this is because the stories  had previously been told in a serialized manner and this season the cases seem stand-alone.  I don't feel vested in what happens to any of the criminals.  The chemistry between the lead cast has also disappeared.  You know it's bad when I find myself wishing the Stabler kids and his mom were back in the mix of things.

Another thing that annoys me - and it's also one of the reasons I stopped watching Chicago PD – is the constant background music.  It’s overkill.   The story or writing can’t be that great if the music is needed to enhance a sense of drama.

Another one off story was the whole purpose to introduce Elliot with a love interest other than Olivia? i guess so. Most interesting thing that is happening this season is Jet's story is expanding.

Ti be honest I'm sick and tired of some writers who don't want Elliot and Olivia together romantically. Us Elliot and Olivia fans do they love each other for peck sakes get them together romantically already stop sending in love interests for them both

THIS is how the show should have been all along. Different cases each episode is the best approach. There was no need to fix what wasn't broken.
