I got an early post tip from a friend of mine a QuickSpoilers!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH NBC AND ALL THESE LAW & ORDER'S?! I'm going to give it to you straight from the horses mouth!

NBC Chief of Entertainment Angela Bromstad plans to have the defunct series, Law & Order: Trial by Jury renewed for a second season, she says that "Fans of the series' were left with an immediate cancelation, especially with the sudden passing of Orbach. (Jerry Orbach - Lennie Briscoe) While Dick [Wolf] plans to start the LA series, it would be nice to give the legal series' another 'trial' run." This Law & Order series is not new to television it premiered once on NBC Thursday March 3, 2005 and fell in the ratings after Jerry Orbach passed away after only filming two episodes of the series, it was canceled Saturday January 21, 2006. So far no casting plans have been made yet, their current first priority is to hire a set of writers for the series.

I read that on SquadTV, NBC is just Law & Order crazy!

The mothership or SVU needs to move to TNT now before one of them gets buffed like TBJ did!

I am unable to confirm that story about Trial By Jury, and I can't find a link on the TV Squad web site that states this. The only link I found was to another blog, and their link to the TV squad doesn't take me to anything about Trial By Jury. Anyone have a link to a solid source?

Appears to have been a hoax. TV Squad has no trace of the article,
