Very brief episode information has been released for the season premiere of Law & Order Criminal Intent (USA), titled “Playing Dead” which will air on Sunday, April 19 at 9:00 PM on the USA Network. In the Season 8 opener, Goren (Vincent D'Onofrio) and Eames (Kathryn Erbe) investigate the shooting of a councilman's stepdaughter and her boyfriend. The drug-addicted pair were involved in blackmail schemes targeting the woman's politically powerful family.
