It was a great crossover! Even though it's the weakest crossover compared to the previous 2 ("Gimme Shelter" and "Play With Fire") it was still entertaining! I also love both seasons of the original and SVU, but this time around, I think SVU has the better season with Fazekas as showrunner! What do you think, Chris?!

@SH - I have mixed feelings about this crossover. The first half was very good. The second half lost momentum, in my opinion. A little too much Benson in both episodes, it made the whole thing more like a 2-hour SVU episode. And during the trial, there was something that Price said to Carisi - I can't recall exactly what is was - but I found myself asking why Price would even ask Carisi the question, it seemed like a dumb question for the Executive DA to be asking a lowly SVU prosecutor. That second half just left me with a feeling of disappointment.

First half - very good. Lots of action, drama. Jean de Segonzac never disappoints, ever. Benson was annoying to a point and I felt that she was a pushy, that's the best word I can think of to describe her behavior. Walker (Ajala) will fit in fine. Agree that it felt more like a 2 hour SVU than even coverage for both shows.

Didn't like it at all. Too much violence. One victim shot on camera. One of the bad guys was killed trying to escape the police after a gunfight. Two explosions. One SVU team member impaled. I miss the opening narration (In the criminal justice system. . .), the "dunh dunh, and the place cards to frame scenes. This seemed like the Mariska Hargitay Show. Everyone else was a bit player. Hugh Dancy was barely in it, all Tony Goldwyn said was "Make a Deal," and Olivia Maroun was absent. I thought the plot was absurd. This was just another cop show.
