Decent story. I was just reading something about the risk of using AI to "animate" photos of people who've passed on, and that it can create false memories and can trigger bad emotions. I can where using a full on AI "personality" that talks back to you - and that can only give responses based on what it knows from the internet or what's fed into it - could be a problem. Creepy too.
Loved this episode. Especially the first half. The whole AI thing was creepy as all get out. The prayer with Walker reminded me of the episode where Curtis prayed with the mom who killed her baby and led the police on a wild goose chase after she reported the child missing. That confession got thrown out too. So at least they’re consistent even if this time around it was a bit of a stretch on how they got it thrown out.
Crazy episode, but still good!
