OMG -- SVU is back! I love what Fazekas is doing for the show! She should've replaced Leight after season 23 just so we have great showrunners following one another.

This episode was amazing. Believable acting from the actress who portrayed the victim. I love the way in which the Peacock version of the episode continues the story that Tynan is investigating the SVU with Griffin as a spy. Wonderful lighting.

What do you think, Chris?

Also, what do you think of Glenn Fleshler's return to SVU as attorney Daniel Olin? 4 years ago, he played Myron Gold representing the congressman in season 23. Honestly, he should've reprised his role as Gold if this episode's storyline was going after people with connections. It would've showed how he got away with what he did in "And the Empire Strikes Back" episodes. What do you think, Chris? This doesn't make it a bad episode; it just would've been an interesting connection to previous episodes.

Last episode and this episode kind of introduced the feeling that this is the last season of the show. I truly hope not! Fazekas is doing an amazing job! After Graziano's episodes (seasons 24-26), I was ready to give up on the show, but now Fazekas is making it better than ever!

@SH - in all honesty, I hadn't connected Glenn Fleshler to a previous episode, I only thought he looked familiar but never looked into it any further. As far as this new season, overall there's a great improvement in the storytelling and I like what the new showrunner has done so far. Adding a new guy to the squad is always dicey but I think this one didn't annoy me right off the bad - a good sign!

Honestly I only recognized Fleshler because his two characters are very similar!

Do you know if/when you'll return to your reviews? They were great!

I added an important plot detail in my blog post - FYI - Depending on whether viewers watched this episode live or on streaming, a different ending was presented. The live version showed Bruno telling Benson that Stabler was in the hospital; the streaming version had Griffin visiting Chief Tynan’s home

PS - they should NEVER EVER do this.

I 100% agree! I prefer the Griffin ending b/c it's more intense and definitely not changing the timeline. For us Peacock viewers, we already know what happens so there was no point for them to do the broadcast ending. And I feel like even though Benson was in the OC episode that night, it can just be a standalone episode (like what they did for season 2 "The Good, the Bad and the Lovely," where Benson and Fin were both in the episode w/o ever connecting the 2 episodes).

@SH - I wish I could go back to doing them again but they do take up so much time. Now that I haven't been doing them for a while, I've gotten used to spending my time on other stuff, which has been a plus! (wink)

That's great! Thank you, though, for continuing the discussion topics. Much appreciated!
