NBC has announced that the season finale dates for Law & Order SVU and Law & Order Organized Crime will be Thursday, June 3, 2021.

I think it was only 7 or 8. It was intended to be a short season only. And I think they also had two COVID delays while filming. Next season - assuming there is one - I believe is supposed to be in 8 episode arcs, and 3 separate arcs.
