TVLine: Stabler's Exit Addressed in "Several Episodes"

Michael Ausiello of TVLine.com has reported that Elliot Stabler's (Chris Meloni's) absence from Law & Order SVU will be covered over "several episodes" and there "will be fallout." Oh good, I was worried the Stabler bullcrap would leave with the character.

@sirmikelogan: You honestly think it's a good idea to just put someone else in Stablers position after all these years, and then act as if NOTHING HAPPENED after the transition?

@ Alicia, he was only there for 4 episodes. Stabler has been there for over 12 years.

@ sirmikelogan, he's been there forever. If it doesn't have an impact on the squad that doesn't last more than one episode. Then it just does a disservice to the transition to Danny Pino's character.
