NBC: Not Killing Off Stabler; Mariska in Every SVU Episode for Season 13

At Monday's Television Critics (TCA) press tour, NBC’s Robert Greenblatt made reassurances that Detective Elliot Stabler (Chris Meloni) will not be killed off. (Seriously now, they would have been  crazy to do so. But remember, we're talking NBC here, where crazy decisions were sometimes the norm. It's good that Greenblatt made a firm statement on the Stabler issue.)   As far as how Stabler’s departure would be explained, Greenblatt told TVLine.com “I think you should just watch and see….It’s not a big shocking mystery.”

Greenblatt also reaffirmed that Mariska Hargitay would appear in every episode in season 13 (let’s hold him to that promise) and added he hopes to continue this past season 13.

Good news. I was hoping they wouldn't pull a Greevey and pump a stunt double full of lead in the first episode.

That said, I have serious doubts about the pretty boy from Cold Case.

Stabler and Benson are the Mulder & Scully of L&O! it's not right to have one wi5th out the other. maybe after the ratings start dropping they will give Meloni the raise he deserves!
