Interesting episode, I didn't expect that the daughter didn't really have cancer. It seems Reid Scott was absent this week, it's sad that they have to cut back on a cast member's appearance every week to make their budget.
The Mothership did a similar episode way back in season 5(Jack’s first appearance!), episode 1, Second Opinion. I think that one was better to be honest. And this whole a cast member has to skip every week is getting old. Baxter this week makes sense, he’s the DA. There is no reason the commanding officer of an entire team of detectives should be out in the field as much as Brady seems to be. There has been some bright spots with this revival/reboot but overall it’s just been totally half baked.
