Here are the new promotional art “posters” for the upcoming season premieres of Law & Order, Law & Order SVU and Law & Order Organized Crime. While Law & Order and SVU will be new episodes, my understanding is that Law & Order Organized Crime will be re-airing season 5 on NBC (previously only aired on Peacock). All will premiere on September 25, 2025.

Hi Chris! What do you think of the original excluding a 2nd detective this season? Do you think they will eventually find someone to replace Mehcad Brooks?
@SH - I think they will eventually replace him. I'm wondering if the are going to pair him up with someone different for a few episodes and see if anyone "sticks" with fans? I'll be honest, I'm a little indifferent to what's going to happen. I think over the years I've becomes less attached to cast members, maybe because there has been so many made on all of the L&O shows!

Definitely! It'll be interesting to see what they do on the show without the traditional 2nd detective.
They should bring back Cosgrove! Him and Riley would make a great pair. The other character they should take away is Maroun...
Tierney took over the detective role last season and left no time for the other 2 detectives i'm not surprised he left .
I'm sorry, but am I understanding this correctly? There won't be a junior detective and that Maura Tierney's character will essentially be the second detective at least at the start of the season?
@Valens Hawke - they haven't announced the "junior" yet but the information that's come out so far indicates that Lt. Brady (Tierny)) will be the one working with with Riley. I don't know exactly how that's going to look though.
the premiere summary got released and it will be a direct follow up of ending of season 24 with culprit death be focus of imvestigation and maroun being investigated. since it suppose to pllace soon after finale couldnt think of reason mechad brooks woud leave shortly after
