There are some episodes of Law & Order that are good just for some background noise. This was one of those types of episodes. Not horrible, not great. In the middle. Everyone was just kind of walking through the motions in this one it seems.

@RobertNacci - I agree, it was very middle-of-the-road. I know that time frames get compressed on Law & Order but shouldn't someone have checked more on fingerprints on the bullets in the gun before they put the principal on trial? I know it was the kid that killed the guy and they were holding the principal responsible for not catching it, but the fact that the kid fully intended to shoot that guy no matter what, I think it would make a difference in the principal's defense.

@Laurie F - I agree about the timeframe. How many times have we seen them get such reports and results back during interrogations? Yet here they didn’t get them back until a deal was cut and they were in the middle of the trial? Did they seriously wait that long to do so? Oh and then Shaw not wanting to share the report with the DA? Ridiculous! And the fact the school board made it to where the principal felt like he couldn’t do his job and follow protocol is horrible and sadly a reality they actually face. Looking back on it I feel Jack would have hauled the school board president into court for it! 😂

Side note - it was good to see Mike Doyle (SVU’s O'Halloran) again!
