Various sources report that Maura Tierney (“ER”) has joined the cast of Law & Order for season 24. Details have not been revealed, with the exception that she will portray a new lieutenant. (If you recall, Camryn Manheim ( Lieutenant Kate Dixon) exited the show last season, so we could connect the dots.) Stay tuned!

Seems like a great choice! Though I was hoping for Kathryn Erbe to make a return to the universe :(
