I don't understand, what is the point of these people coming back then? Truth be told though, Anthony Anderson's character was not one of my favorites. But it's just weird having people like that come back for like a few episodes or one season only to just leave to work on other projects.
I really didn't care for his character anyway, truth be told.
@Eldridge - my guess is bringing previous stars back for the reboot would "bridge" former viewers to the new show. Seeing familiar faces always helps people to adjust. Anthony only signed on for the season to begin with too, so so I figured he may have been hoping another job would be on the horizon!
