So no Barba but three pictures from stupid Tuckson scene. This is getting ridiculous.

Agreed. Hopefully the writers will fix this

Blame the rabid Olivia fans who demanded Liv have a baby ... Boo now there is Noah ( who is in danger again ..... Says Warren) now they demand a man for Liv ... Boom we have tuckson now

Instantly recognized the short-haired girl in the last photo as the "Master Baiter" from the episode "Sugar," lol

I love everything everyone apparently hates! I love the idea of these two. At least somebody from back in the day is still making an appearance on the show who at least shared a scene with original cast members.

And no Fin in this episode either. I like the premises of this case but knowing there will be both Tuckson and Noah takes the excitement out of it.

And Warren & Co are still complaining on Twitter that "we" put too much emphasis on this ridicoulus pairing instead of the case/matter. THEY MADE THE BLOODY HASHTAG ABOUT THIS PAIRING!! & "we" didn't ask for a man for Liv, she already have the only ltl man she needs for now. And there's no getting around that there are a lot of viewers who find Liv getting with Tucker so highly unlikely and OOC.

Is the girl in the last pic from Orange is the New Black? I think I recognize her from that show but I'm not sure..

@empxth tbh - yes, that is Abigail Savage who has appeared on OITNB!

@rheia123 he's not in the photos but he was definitely in the preview.

Yes.It already has a promo with Barba and some photos with him in this episode. Don't worry about Tuckson.
Barson's moments are more powerful.

Gosh I feel like the minority here in that I really watch the show for some good crime drama! :) I really could care less who ships with who as long as it doesn't take away from the show and the acting is spot on and the story line believable and the chemistry between characters is terrific. I mean c'mon people this isn't a soap opera! it's a crime drama! I really don't even care who is on the show as long as they deliver a great performance for your entertainment and mine! ;)

@HerbaceousHaven I disagree, this show is so far removed from it's original vision that it has become a full fledged soapy crime drama. I just rewatched the first 5 seasons and it's tone is completely different from the current run. :)

@ Aliyah Rahem I like Barba but Novak and Cabot has my heart ;)

Anyway getting back to Tuckson Blechhhh. That is all. :)

@mb1313.....Well a girl can always dream ;)

@mb1313 - sorry to have to say it but I do agree with you. Warren started out good but he managed to turn this around to something that is far from the crime show this used to be. Olivia has had more "action" (lovelife, private life, climbing the ranks, getting kidnapped) during his years than she had for the duration of the 12 years pre-Warren. It's really sad.
My experience from this board, at least in the past, has always been that the posters wants the crime drama. Actually on every SVU forum I'm on everyone moans over the Olivia hour, it's sad that WL & Co caters to that loud group that - someone on here put it so well a while back - are so far up their asses to see clearly.
We obviously need some character development or this show would grow stale but the soapy drama sure is taking the fun out of what used to be my #1 show.

I am astonished that people who dislike a program continually babel at every opportunity. When I don't like the program I stop watching it.

Folks, this is a program not real life. It is a script that an actor follows. I enjoy the cast and the stories, and this dissing of the Tucker character is so silly.

MorbidPet said...

Hmm and here I was in the apparent disbelief a TV forum was a place to actually discuss a TV show, good or bad.

In my eyes we are all fans that posts on this board, if we weren't invested we wouldn't care enough to come here. However we are neither blind, ppl who jump on bandwagons nor do we suck up and it's why I love this board & appreciate Chris for giving us a place to air our thoughts/concerns/etc.
It's okay to dislike a character, some are even created to dislike, and at least on this board ppl doesn't attack the actors/actresses portraying them which I unfortunately see a lot on other forums.

@PetraS - I'm with you! For me, a big part of the enjoyment of watching a TV show is being able to discuss the good and the bad! And I'm glad many people here feel free to air their opinions!

Unknown said...

@Petra S and @Chris Zimmer- I have to agree with Mary. I also think that discussing a show is fun and interesting. However, I notice that people on here seem to post their negative opinions at any chance they get. I get that you don't have to like everything about the show, but when something like that is going on, I honestly wonder if the person is even enjoying the show at all. Also, people seem to like to point out some details that seem very unimportant to me and sometimes they let it ruin the show for them. I find that silly. When I watch my shows I simply tend to look at the overall big picture.

Unknown said...

@Petra S- I don't think that just because you like everything about a show it means your jumping on the bandwagon, blind, or that you're sucking up. I find that insulting because it implies that people like me, who rarely find anything to complain about, are just accepting anything that's given to them and can't make their own opinions and that's not true.

I like a lot of SVU but Olivia would have to have a brain transplant to forget what Tucker did to her and SVU.

I've accepted the fact that I'm not always going to like the direction the show takes, but I'm with it until the end. Really just enjoying the procedural and supporting the show.
