I think they're really pushing it by calling it a relationship. All we've gotten so far is looks and hints (and okay a naked Amaro on her couch is a hell of a hint but still they barely touched). I don't mind it all happening off-screen (just like EVERYTHING baby Noah) but I think they're screwing over the fans by not even giving us/them a decent touch.
Looking forward to Chad Coleman's guest appearance though, big TWD fan & I'm sure he'll be back as my fave character as soon as he grows his balls back ;)

I hope there's more to this case than the synopsis is telling us. Benson hasn't been picking her battles well lately, and I think it sends the wrong message for her to pressure a woman into dismantling her relationship and family when she didn't ask for help in the first place. It's one thing for a close friend or family member to express concern and encourage a survivor to get help, but I didn't think it was the police's job to go find these cases when no one asked for help in the first place. I know the show is just fiction, but now that JHF and the No More campaign are so closely tied to the show, how they handle these issues matters a lot more. I hope they're giving Mariska and the JHF more input on how they write these stories. Ending domestic violence and sexual assault is the goal, but working toward that goal with sensitivity and care is crucial.

TrueBeliever is kinda right...
It's one thing if you know that this is happening to a friend and stuff but when you're the police it's not really fair is it? Since you have all the power...

But what kind of effect will it have on their relationship? I mean, at first they hated each other, then they kinda got along, then they hated each other even more (even tho the hate was kinda one-sided) and now they're like partners with benefits or something...

I love how they make use of Broadway stars. Besides cast member Raul Esparza, Jefferson Mays, Tony winner and star of "A gentleman's guide to love and murder" is in this episode.
