I am so happy Barba is back for another episode! I just love his prickly, crabby character, and I hope he becomes at the very least a continuing semi-regular character.
Me too Linda! That makes 2 of us...He fits in so well with the rest of the crew! I'm lovin' the new crew & writing...Mariska shines even more!
I couldn't agree more about Rafeal Barba. The only time I'd heard his name was from showrunner Warren Leight. The actor who plays Barba was a Broadway actor in Warren's recent Broadway play.He has a wonderful stage presence even on tv ,so I can imagine what he must be like on live stage. Very good choice for a dynamic role on SVU!
Deja vu. The Good Wife just did the two trials for two different defendants in two different counties in their episode "Battle of the Proxies".
Raul Esparza is indeed a very fine Broadway stage actor. You should search him on youtube, I think you'll be surprised by what you find.
where was the scene shot where Carol is confronted by Benson and Amaro? I'd like to know what building is in the background because it looks very familiar to me.
Re Raul Esparza, find any youtube video of him singing "Being Alive" from Sondheim's "Company" and you'll see and hear just how great he is as a singer and actor!
