Here is the discussion topic for Law & Order Organized Crime “Memory Lane” which aired on Thursday, January 18, 2024. Please feel free to add any feedback you have about this episode in the comments!
This episode was better than most of the episodes last season. But how many undercover ops can Stabler be on before he becomes well known to the local criminals? By now you think his face would be easily recognized.
For a squad that's still grieving the loss of a fellow officer, there was a lot of recklessness from the OC squad in this episode. Stabler, Jet, Reyes all just jumping headfirst into things, ignoring clear signs of danger and calls to back down? Bell needs to get them all in line!
I am a little disappointed that they chose not to return to the multi-episode arcs, but this episode is better than some others in the previous season. Hopefully, there is/there are much more cohesive multi-episode storylines this season! I thought this season was the perfect time to return to their original storytelling format, given the reduced episode order.
@Dawgdays - I'm glad you brought that up. There is zero chemistry between those two and why do these shows always have to have colleagues get into a romantic relationship?
