  1. So with these interviews, it's pretty clear that Raul Esparza must be leaving the show, right? That is so unfortunate.

  2. I don't think Raul/Barba is leaving, because the writers have stated on Twitter the actors will all still be there. The dynamics may change somewhat & lots of getting adjusted to the new comer will occur but nobody is out the door. At least that's what has been said on Twitter...I just hope Barba/Raul stays...JMO

  3. Yup I guess Barba is gone which sucks but that’s what this show does- we got another “new guy”- thanks so much for posting these interviews!

  4. I am going to be beyond hurt if that’s the case

  5. I don't think Raúl is leaving but may want more time to return to his Broadway roots and do guest appearances on other shows (watch The Path on Hulu; Season 3 Ep 2,3, 5 [so far]). He is currently rehearsing/performing Chess at Kennedy Center/WDC Feb 14-18. Every show has to bring in "new" characters; look at Brook Shields (whether we like Sheila or not), and will probably return in the future for her "trial". I am assuming Esparza will not be in episodes that air about 6 weeks from now due to the rehearsal and performance schedule unless they pre-shot some scenes for those later episodes (probably episodes 14-18?). After next week we will all have a better idea. If you remember, the original L&A had 2 ADAs prosecuting (1st chair, 2nd chair). Maybe that's what they'll do here to see how Stone (Winchester) works out. Esparza started as a "guest star" for a few episodes (5 maybe?) before he became a regular cast member.

  6. this is gonna be a uniquely special episode, especially for us diehard fans of the mothership show. it’s gonna provide a throughline from all the many generations and iterations of the franchise. I still remember watching that dusky pilot episode which started it all, “Everybody’s Favorite Bagman”......Stone saying something about mob wiretaps......oh and nice Star Trek title btw!

  7. @the late phoenix - the phrase "the undiscovered country" actually originates from Shakespeare's Hamlet. Star Trek lifted that Hamlet reference for the movie.

  8. WOW. That was an *amazing* episode.

Thank you so much for portraying the incredibly difficult decision that the parents faced — from deciding to not get an abortion to deciding how to care for their son. It was incredibly ... I don’t know that there’s a word to describe it. Heartbreaking? Awful?

If I could get an email address for Ms. Hargitay or Mr. Wolf, I’d love to share with them my story. DOes anybody know where I could find that?

  9. @Kathy - They don't have public email addresses. The best way to find them may be through their agents or media reps (I don't have contact names for these people, at least none that I could disclose). So sorry!
