Now I'm a bit frigthened. Not that they mess up the airing again. Rispetto was the fourth episode they filmed. They can't show the reunion of Bobby and Alex in the second episode.
ReplyDeleteGood point Havers. I hope they don't mess up the scheduling like they did in season 8.
ReplyDeleteThat would be stupid wouldn't it, I reckon they just put that as the Air Date for the series rather than the episode itself. The re-introduction should be the first episode, The Consoler.
ReplyDeleteAgree with all the foregoing comments. This isn't just any season premiere; I really want to and expected to see how Goren and Eames are reunited and brought back to Major Case...
ReplyDeleteIf it walks like a duck and talks like a duck...
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Jane! It would be stupid but it isn't a stretch, given the networks treatment of the Goren and Eames episodes during season 8.
ReplyDeleteThey aired them all out of order! Like anyone could forget that.
This really sucks and is unfair! I foolishly convinced myself that USA network was going to do right by the show and the fans...
They might bring in the ratings for airing this RFTH episode but what's going to happen to the ratings when they air what was supposed to be the true first episode...it's going to confuse people and cause them to tune out!
Hmm, USA keeps sending 'CI' fans mixed messages. We get some excellent promotional still pictures, lots of awesome trailers, only to find the episodes will be aired out of order! Way to go, USA (!) :p
ReplyDeleteI just saw the promotional spot for it, and I can't say I'm impressed. They seem to be marketing it as a run-of-the-mill casefile rather than a reintroduction. I guess they're trying to cash-in on the Charlie Sheen thing(which is already old meme by now). I'm echoing the others and hoping it won't jack up the storyline.
ReplyDeleteI still feel a two-hour tv movie would've been a better farewell for us Goren/Eames fans.
Un@!*@ing Believable - what the hell do USA think they're DOING?!!! It feels like the Season 8 'any old running order will do 'sabotage' of G/E episodes...(again!)
ReplyDeleteMy advice read this:

Btw: pleeeeeease can Rene Balcer write the final episode? The series should end, when all is said and done, with the writer who started it all.
