In my opinion, I am glad Mehcad Brooks is leaving. I found his character and Maroun somewhat annoying. Hopefully they up Connie Shi to series regular (she plays Violet Yee). Any thoughts, Chris?
I thought Mehcad did a good job but this last season, his character was absent so many times that it was almost a sure thing he'd be gone. I think it's unlikely they'd replace him with Connie Shi but I've been wrong before on issues like this. It would be interesting to add a female detective but I have so many bad memories of the Nina Cassidy years that I don't know if I'm ready for another one!
