When I saw this, I almost pissed myself. Im happy to have him back and it would be interesting to see Carisi face off against his old mentor. However, I cant imagine Barba being on the defense and helping someone get off on serious crimes. The same crimes he fought against for years.
Yeah. Barba being a defense attorney? That has the potential to backfire spectacularly. I hope the case is somehow morally ambiguous, and the person(s) Barba is defending isn't a psychopath.
If Barba is as good as he was during his peak, Carisi is gonna get creamed.๐
Glad to see Barba but to be honest, I kinda miss the old show before so many changes were made. And imho Carisi was so much better to me as a cop than he has been as an ADA.

So happy to see Raul Esparza will be back January 7. The promo showed Barba both clean shaven and bearded !
ReplyDeleteAnd he had his usual smirk and sass !
No recap for yesterday's new episode?
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to Raul/Barba returning but wish it was permanent! Somehow I can't fathom him as defense tho unless the person is NOT guilty! JMO
ReplyDelete@kev - I may not be able to recap that episode. I'm under the weather.
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon Chris ๐
