Well isn't that promo all very dramatic.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to know how deep the rabbit hole goes. Is anyone in the system not corrupted or a sex offender?
I'm more worried about Barba then Olivia
ReplyDeleteMe too. Especially after the last episode.
ReplyDeleteI'm worried about Barba as well. I guess it's just a matter of time before he & Olivia both go off the deep end.
ReplyDeleteAlso more worried about Barba, but we all know how these are cut. He's said "we're done talking" or similar a few times - one that comes to mind is when Olivia was telling him about Noah's birth father.
ReplyDeleteHer moving her name plate is her probably getting a bigger office, or something, nothing to fret over.
My guess is, "done talking" this time means it's time to take action and stop just talking about it instead.
DeleteI'm not worried! They have to make it look that way to give us something to make us want to come back next week and find out what happens! ;)
ReplyDeleteI think it will be a good episode! Can't wait!
Is that the season finale? Looks like it would be a great cliff hanger! :)
ReplyDeletelmao @Laura J, right? It's like by now they've run out of officials bc all of them are corrupt or something :D
ReplyDeleteIt would make more sense that Barba is the one being transferred out . I agree, they love to place red herrings- that Liv is being transferred out when its probably just a bigger office now that she's made Lieutenant. They've never an on-site office for anyone higher up than Captain Cragen. I missed the last few minutes of Starstruck last night- what did Liv tell Rollins in the end?I really wish she would transfer back to Georgia by now. Rollins is incapable of following the simplest of orders either from Liv or even Dodds Jr. Rollins is a real loose cannon and I for one wouldn't miss her at this point.
ReplyDeleteIt seemed to me that Barba's job is on the line after last nights episode.
ReplyDeleteI don't even know why he would take that case to court as it was a dog to begin with and as he said "suicide" for him.
Benson did not believe Rollins that she did not leak the video to the press.
Dodds Jr. came in and told Olivia to stop asking questions that it was not Rollins who leaked the video and that he "knew" who did. He said he never liked the guy and he got what was coming to him. That's all! :)
Oh god I don't want Barba to be transferred! He's the only reason I watch this show!!!
ReplyDelete@kat.....Well if they transfer Barba maybe Carisi will pass the bar and take his place! LOL! J/K ;)
ReplyDeleteThey better not transfer him! I love my Rafi!
DeleteAs for Sonny I can't really see him as a prosecutor yet. He doesn't seem to have the ruthlessness it takes. I could see him as an advocate for rape victims. He's great with the victims and is a gentle soul. Honestly if I was a victim I rather talk to Sonny than Olivia.
OhSusannah - I think the promo with Benson picking up new nameplate is a red herring too. My guess was that they are probably redecorating her office or painting it (wink)
ReplyDeleteI have the recap up so you can read the ending there!
Based on that scene with the nameplate I feel like it was written before they knew they were renewed.
ReplyDeleteI bet Barba says they're done talking because of the TuckerThing. Pretty sure he and Liv are breaking some kind of rules being in a relationship?
ReplyDeletethe promos are very misleading for example "melancolyc pursuit" and "collateral damages" their promos had nothing to do with the episodes, so Benson picking up the nameplate doesn't mean anything
ReplyDeleteWith the speed Benson is climbing the ranks she might be putting out her captain's nameplate instead. Yes I'm being ironic but with SVU these days you just don't know.
ReplyDeleteOkay guys Raúl is not leaving. He won't be in episode 19 but will be here for the rest of the season. Julie confirmed it on Twitter.
ReplyDelete@Abby - was she only talking about this season or did she say for the next season as well? (I didn't think anything was official for the next season yet.)
ReplyDeleteFor this season at least.
Delete@Abby - I don't know why but I think he'll be gone in the next. I hope he isn't but it just seems like they are setting Barba up for an eventual exit.
ReplyDeleteI hope not. He's my favorite character and the reason I started watching again.
DeleteThey better not! If they do, they're probably going to have a riot on their hands
DeleteWhere is i ce- t
ReplyDelete@Mildred McKenzie - my guess is Ice-T has been off for the birth of his and Coco's baby. The real question is where is Fin? Nobody knows!
