  1. I honestly saw this coming. The ending of Criminal Pathology of Yates and Rudnick at the prison was very telling. I hope that this is the last time we hear of Yates and Rudnick.

@Chris, are you going to put the episode information, sneek peeks and pictures of the Chicago PD portion of the crossover as well like you did last time?

  3. did Anna Deavere Smith play the juror in William Lewis' trial and was at Rudnick's trial as well. Interesting if it is her and she is in this. It will be interesting as I think both Yates and Rudnick feel that Barba trapped them.

  4. @AnaAndrade &@YacArroll - i think everybody saw this coming (wink)

@MargotUndercliffe - Anna Deveare Smith has never been on SVU. Are you thinking of Sarah Bisman Storm who played Bronwyn Freed, the woman who seemed to have a thing for Lewis?

@WalterMulder - Funny! People havce asked me to do recaps for all the Chicago shows but I just don't have the time. I do post all the pics from all the Chicago shows on my TV blog, though!

  5. PS to @Ana - yes! I never saw the episode info in the press release so I had to go looking for it. I added it to this post. And when pics and (hopefully) videos come out, I will post those too.

  6. I love Chicago Crossovers (and the Chiacgo shows in general), so I'm really excited about this :D

  7. I just had a horrible thought:

Remember when Danny Pino was leaving SVU, Amaro started appearing in less episodes?

Lately, Barba hasn’t been in many episodes.
WHAT IF RAUL ESPARZA IS LEAVING SVU?!?!? WHAT IF THEY KILL OFF BARBA?!?!?!

  8. @kat - I think you are not alone in the concern that Raul may not be with SVU for the long term....

  9. Don't worry if they kill off Barba....ADA's seem to be a dime a dozen on SVU. ;)
I really don't think they will and even if he does leave the show, he could always come back and guest star once in awhile. :D

  10. This is pretty much ripped from the headlines from the recent prison escape last year in New York so I knew SVU would have to do an episode based off it since the original Law & Order is no more, at least for now. The set up at the end of the season premiere increased my suspicions and this episode pretty much confirms it. The chicago PD information doesn't mention Jefferson Mays (Dr. Rudnick) so maybe he'll end being Richard Matt and get the axe, or gets captured in the SVU episode. Also, I wouldn't worry about Barba since he's missed a good amount of episodes in his first season, 15, as a main cast member, and in season 16. This is probably because some episodes of SVU don't really need an ADA for it.

  11. That escape reminds me of Shawshank Redemption with the poster and hole in the wall. The escapees were far from innocent however.
