  2. Alex K. is such a sweet fellow and I'm happy to hear he'll be on another ep of the show. He's extremely talented!

  3. I had the exact same reaction when I saw this @Ana Andrade, so awesome she's back already! Even if it's just for a scene or two. You think it's that scene with her in the hospital bed with Carisi visiting?
And did you see that Instagram pic of Tyler Pontier's baby at the SVU set? I think it's safe to say she'll be "playing" Rollins baby. A girl but that doesn't have to mean she's having a girl but I think she is :) And *phew* baby lives, that's a relief as I've been worried and nervous something would happen to baby.

@Cardinal - haven't seen Alex in much but he was great as socially awkward uniform in Manhattan Vigil :)

  4. Or is Ludo playing her characters baby? Looks like it on IG. Aww that would be even cuter.

  5. Petra, it's probably just going to be the scene with Carisi at the hospital. I guess Kevin was right on that. I hope that means that the rest of the squad will visit her as well. That means she has the baby in this episode. Even if it's just this one scene, I'll take it :)Yes, I just saw that picture of Tyler and his baby going to the SVU set. I really hope that Amanda has a girl. I think they sort of hinted at that in Transgender Bridge when she was talking to this lady while investigating and the lady said she looks like she's carrying a girl. Maybe they're using both Ludo and the baby girl, at least at first? That would make sense because they could use them both at the beginning because it's hard to tell the gender of a newborn just by looking at him/her. If they plan on doing any scenes later in the season with Amanda and her baby and it turns out she had a girl, they have to start using a baby girl and not just any baby. If that's the case, they wanted to start using her as early as possible so that she's familiar with Kelli. I'm also glad nothing happened to the baby as well.

This is what I think is going to happen in the next episodes in regards to Amanda's character:
Episode 7 (Patrimonial Burden) - Amanda helps investigate and this is her last case before she is forced to take leave.
Episode 8 (Melancholy Pursuit) - Amanda is still on leave and we don't see her at all.
Episode 9 (Depravity Standard) - Amanda is technically on leave and doesn't investigate. She has the baby at some point in this episode and somehow tells the squad (or just Carisi). Carisi and/or the squad come visit her at the hospital.

I hope that means that Amanda can come back to work by episode 10, which most likely than not be the first episode in 2016. I did find it weird that they said she'll be gone for 2 episodes. But 1 is better than 2 so I'm not complaining. They probably didn't expect Kelli to want to go back to filming so soon.

  10. Doreen, I couldn't agree with you more. Manhattan Vigil has stayed with me as a well-written ep; sometimes an ep will get under your skin, I guess. I do hope we get closure with this one.

For the record, I am DEFINITELY excited to see BD Wong again, as well as Belz (whom I'm presuming will be in this one), as well as Alex K. I'm really looking forward to this one, like you have no idea! :)
