Law & Order SVU “Dissonant Voices” Air Date November 6, 2013 (9 PM ET/8C Wednesday NBC)
A SINGING COACH AND POPULAR TV PERSONALITY IS ACCUSED OF SEXUAL ABUSE BY HIS STUDENTS
Singing coach Jackie Walker (guest starring 2013 Tony Award-winner Billy Porter) is at the height of his career, with a featured role on television’s biggest reality show, "American Diva," and a steady position teaching music at a prestigious New York City school. When a four year-old student comes forward with claims of sexual abuse, Detective Rollins (Kelli Giddish) asks the squad to be mindful of Walker’s reputation, but Benson’s (Mariska Hargitay) investigation uncovers evidence that condemns the popular personality. As the case becomes public, more and more victims come forward, but Walker refuses to come clean. Also Starring Ice T (Detective Odafin Tutuola), Danny Pino (Detective Nick Amaro) and Raúl Esparza (ADA Rafael Barba). Also guest starring Jessica Phillips (ADA Pippa Cox), Hana Hayes (Brooke Allen), Kara Hayward (Rachel Burns), Carly Rose Sonenclar (Grace Belsey), David Pittu (Counselor Linus Tate) and Bill Irwin (Dr. Lindstrom).

I love it every time I see that Bill Irwin will gueststar, cause then we know the episode will somehow address what happened in the premiere.. And I live those sessions, live the acting between them!
ReplyDelete*love those sessions, man I hate that I can't edit my note! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to figure out who the Pippa Cox person was ever since I saw and article that said she would be recurring on SVU. So she's another ADA. Wonder what that is about since the squad already has Barba.
ReplyDeleteAccording to http://www.broadwayworld.com/article/Jessica-Phillips-Signs-on-for-Recurring-Role-in-LAW-ORDER-SVU-20131002 Phillips will play "Agent" Pippa Cox... even though she played "ADA" Pippa Cox in last season's Born Psychopath.. confused.
ReplyDeleteIn "Born Psychopath" didn't Jessica Phillips' ADA Cox handle cases involving children specifically? She and Raul Esparza starred in "Leap of Faith."
ReplyDeleteWatching now! I love this show, I love Mariska Hargitay! I can't wait to see the twist, I know one is coming! who thinks he is guilty and who thinks he is being framed? I say framed...
