Variety – and various other media sources – reports that Law & Order SVU will move to the Wednesday, 9PM ET time slot in the fall. Dick Wolf’s new series “Chicago Fire” will take the Wednesday 10PM ET time slot.

I think it's going to do much better being that NBC moved it back to 9pm.
ReplyDeleteOH MY...good news for Stephanie March, her pilot got picked up,they chaged the name for Made In Jersey. So happy for her.Is a sad news for SVU fans all over though. At least for those who thought Alex and Olivia should end up together,I guess this is our final answer. At least now we dont have to wait and see...the actress is no longer on the show...so,that's our SAD ending!
ReplyDelete@Aline- Olivia isn't gay so that wasn't going to ever happen. I don't get why anyone though Alex and Olivia would even be together.
ReplyDeleteStephanie March can still do a guest stint even though she's on another show. Actresses and Actors can do more than appear on one show
@Icy She might not be gay, but she was gay for Cabot, they had a chemistry.Olivia never had that chemistry with her supposed boyfriends. We should forget about labels in this particular case, because I don't think Cabot was gay either, they just fell for each other.I'm not gay,and I'm not trying to offend any SVU fans.
ReplyDeleteIs that a full 22 episodes for season 14?
ReplyDeleteDo we know if all the contracts are signed yet?
NBC are focusing on comedy and reality tv next season.Together with Sport, thats where they make their money.
ReplyDeleteI hope their related company, Universal, shows season 14 as quickly as it did this year on UK TV.
Its good to have SVU with Chicago Fire. If the competition is too much for either on the night they can move one to the Rock Center slot on Thursday when that one fails and is available!
Are they seeing SVU as a lead in to build up audience for Chicago Fire?
ReplyDeleteWhy isnt SVU the 10pm slot, considering its subject matter is sex and violence?
Chicago Fire looks like it should be decent. Dick Wolf, Jesse Spencer, and David Eigenberg sell me on it.
ReplyDeleteHopefully we'll get mopre details on the # of episodes for SVU from today's up front.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first started watching SVU on CTV on Canada,it was always on Tuesday nights at 8pm with a strong content warning. Its only been recently that its moved to match air time with NBC every week. I'm not sure if it will be harmed by moving to 9pm- its only issue might be competing with shows like CSI and American Idol on Wed nights. I wish they'd move it to Tuesday nights. I think it would fare better than.I'm thrilled to see one more season on SVU!
