Kathryn Erbe (Law & order Criminal Intent) told TV Guide that she is still hopeful for the return of Law & Order Criminal Intent, adding "I know that I would be there in a heartbeat. I'm fairly positive that Vincent [D'Onofrio] feels the same way. Everyone was really hoping that, in the 11th hour, we'd get some word," she tells TVGuide.com. "Whether the fans are able to muscle us back or not, who knows. They have amazing power."
She also credited the fans for bringing the show back for a season 10 and wonders if fans can do it again. (We would sure all love that!)

I know how Kathryn feels; this season was one of LOCI's best!
ReplyDeleteWhat's happening with the Law & Order franchise?
NBC asses up last year and cancels the Mothership, LOCI is ending now from that nightmare of a ninth season, back to NBC they messed up yanking LOLA off of the air and keeping it off so long (plus NBC's worst time slot, Monday 10/9c); and the icing on the cake: Meloni's SVU departure/Hargitay's role slacking!
I'd actually consider the option of Erbe joining the mothership or LOLA (if they weren't canceled), but I think she'd be a good replacement for Hargitay on SVU!
This is all wrong!
I'm glad she said we should be happy with the ending. That's what I'm clinging to. I've sent my letters and hope there are enough of us to make someone take notice.
ReplyDeleteI love Erbe and her character of Eames but I'd rather not see her on that ship wreck of a show SVU. Of course if Leight is taking over, who knows? He may actually make it into a decent show.
I just feel there's some horrible justice in the universe that takes away the mothership, LOLA and LOCI and leaves SVU. Just shows popular isn't necessarily good.
The only "good" thing about LOCI ending is just that, it's ending; and not being axed like Mothership/LOLA.
ReplyDeleteAt least we can get a little bit of closure... a little. Happily and sadly; I'm ready for the finale.
I can totally see Erbe joining SVU. Bringing in familiar faces is normal for the L&O franchise.
