Law & Order CI “Folie à Deux” Episode Information, Preview Video Clips

Photos from USA Network

The season may be over for Law & Order and Law & Order SVU, but thankfully fans still have Law & Order Criminal Intent (USA Network) to take them through the summer. Here’s the information on the new episode scheduled to air this Sunday on June 7, “Folie à Deux.” The episode stars Lynn Redgrave. I also have included the promo tease for the show, plus two clips from the episode.

  1. Good episode, but it looks like the continuity department just gave up on trying to make Goren's beard follow the story's timeline. It was long, then nearly gone, then short, then long (as I recall.)

  2. GENERAL QUESTION: I haven't watched CI in a long time...what happened to Chris Noth?? is he coming back or is he gone for good?? What happened to the guy playing Goren?? he looks like someone ran over him with a truck over and over again?? How come NBC stopped airing this show?? I don't get the USA network so when it is aired on CTV (in my area) its about 5 episodes behind?? Sorry about the many dumb questions..like I said when NBC stopped airing this show our networks put the show on at weird times or during other shows and I seem to miss it.

  3. Sunny, Chris Noth left the show in the previous season - his own choice. Right now he has no plans to return. D'Onofrio gained quite a bit of weight after he was hospitalizesd a few years ago with was was reported to be exhaustion. NBC stopped airing the show because the ratings weren't there, and they also began airing Sunday night football during the LOCI time slot. NBC Universal moved the show to BNC's "sister" cable company, USA Network, which airs the first runs of the episodes now. NBC sometimes airs those episodes later on as filler.

    Hope this helps!

  4. John, you are 100% correct on the beard issue. I completely missed it. I went back and scanned the episode a bit - it is really noticeable in the last 10 minutes or so. In Ross' office his beard is very short, in the next scenes at Celia's apartment is is much longer. Thanks for bringing that out - it's a major goof, I think.

  5. THANKS ALL THINGS!!! But doesn't Chris Noth have a stake in the Law & Order franchise?? Does he still get paid back end profits even though he is not on the show anymore??

  6. Sunny, I am not sure if he has a "stake" in the show per se, but he may gets some sort of residual payments for those episodes that air in syndication.
