Law & Order Criminal Intent Episode Information


Some episode information – albeit a little sketchy – has been released for the next four episodes of Law & Order Criminal Intent (USA). Don't forget - the big season premiere will be this Sunday, April 19 at 9:00 PM on USA.


Law & Order Criminal Intent “Playing Dead” Air date April 19, 2009 SEASON PREMIERE
In the Season 8 opener, Goren (Vincent D’Onofrio) and Eames (Kathryn Erbe) investigate the shooting of a councilman's stepdaughter and her boyfriend. The drug-addicted pair were involved in blackmail schemes targeting the woman's politically powerful family.

Law & Order Criminal Intent “Rock Star” Air date April 26, 2009
Wheeler (Julianne Nicholson) and her partner, Det. Zack Nichols (Jeff Goldblum), investigate the stabbing of an artist, who was found in a neighborhood rife with ethnic tensions.

Law & Order Criminal Intent “Identity Crisis” May 3, 2009
Goren (Vincent D’Onofrio) and Eames (Kathryn Erbe) track a man who killed his brother while struggling with his traumatic past and the mysterious death of his mother.

Law & Order Criminal Intent “The Glory That Was...” Air date May 10, 2009
Wheeler (Julianne Nicholson) and Nichols (Jeff Goldblum) investigate the Olympic Site Selection Committee.

  1. I'm fairly sure that the mother you speak of will be the suspect's mother, which would have less bearing on Goren. Sounds like the episode will have more to do with the suspect's identity crisis.

  2. OK, that makes sense. I think I read more into it than was there - since Goren's brother was killed and his mother is dead as well, I assumed the brother and the mother they were talking about was Goren's.

  3. I think what anon is saying is true and I also think the case will be one that Goren will be personally invested (and mostly likely show his empathetic side) it may also make him face his own demons so to speak. It is still not yet confirmed that this will be the 3rd episode though.

  6. I LOVE this Blog site, it's great. I've just found out that Not only was the new Special Victims Unit shown last monday (in the UK) but tonight (23rd) the brand new Criminal Intent is on at 9pm on Hallmark Channel. Too good to be true? This is so great, hope other fans are pleased with the news too!!!
